Organization-first flow
Explore KSAWorks
KSAWorks starts with the person, then gives institutions, employers, and partners a shared way to understand, support, and coordinate what comes next. When the learner wins, everyone benefits: advising becomes clearer, pathways become easier to explain, and opportunities become easier to act on.
Why organizations begin here
This is where the fuller KSAWorks shell begins. Explore the broader platform, see how person-first guidance connects to shared coordination, and understand how the Gold services work together without making the learner carry the whole system alone.
Person-first guidance
The entry experience starts with a human question, not a product catalog. KSAWorks helps a person see a next step first, then brings the larger ecosystem into view when context and coordination matter.
Shared coordination
Schools, employers, workforce programs, and partners can work from the same learning signals, pathway context, and applicability view. That reduces friction and makes guidance easier to align across organizations.
Visible outcomes
The goal is not explanation for its own sake. The goal is a clearer next move for the learner and a more confident basis for action for the organizations supporting that move.
GoldMap
GoldMap is the first meaningful action in the person-first flow. It gathers prior learning, lived experience, and supporting evidence so the learner can see what may count, what their record suggests, and where planning can begin.
GoldCheck
GoldCheck stands on its own. It verifies, compares, and prepares the learner for the next handoff into pathway and enrollment movement, especially when applicability and recognition need to be reviewed before action.
GoldPath
GoldPath follows GoldCheck as the shopping-cart style link into pathway and SIS integration steps. It helps bridge learner intent to a more frictionless enrollment and progression path.
GoldRibbon
GoldRibbon is PLA and CPL onboarding. It helps the learner assemble evidence and assertions faster, puts materials into a more standard form, and makes institutional assessment easier and less time-consuming.
GoldPlan
GoldPlan reduces the friction of siloed services. It executes the queue of service requests using the EDUcore semantic backbone and evolving standards work across CEDS, CTDL, and related semantic tools.
GoldRush
GoldRush connects with those queues to help move the learner through institutional gates, turning approved intent into actual enrollment and progression motion.
GoldNugget
GoldNugget is the awarding of credit and achievement. It is the recognition layer that helps build confidence through visible acknowledgment of what the learner has earned or demonstrated.
FortKnox
FortKnox is the person’s secure store. It preserves the evidence, recognition, memory, and personal materials that should remain under the person’s control across the broader journey.
When the learner wins
Better transfer guidance, clearer pathway visibility, stronger demand alignment, and more coherent advising all start when the learner can see a viable next step instead of facing a wall of systems and jargon.
What organizations gain
A shared language for capability, a more transparent way to connect learning and work, and a platform experience that respects both the person navigating decisions and the organizations trying to coordinate around them.
Started and deployable
GoldMap, GoldCheck, GoldPath, and GoldRibbon are already started and deployable. GoldPlan, GoldRush, and GoldNugget are being flushed out further as the queue, gate, and recognition layers take shape.
What this means for the learner
The goal is not a pile of disconnected services. The goal is a person-first chain that reduces friction from evidence gathering, to applicability, to pathway selection, to review, to enrollment, to recognition.
