KSAWorks MVP scope, intent, and how the pieces fit together.

KSAWorks is a coordinated suite for authoring, promoting, and following guided pathways across the ecology of learning and work. This MVP is a working foundation for identity, navigation, and shared user experience patterns that will later connect to live publishing, pathway indexing, and progress tracking.

What this MVP includes

Standardized header and footer across all pages, with a consistent brand shell for the suite.
Google single sign-on using Firebase Authentication to establish a shared identity layer for the portal.
Three platform entry points that represent the suite: Composer, Playlist, and Performer.
A secured dashboard that provides a suite-level overview once authenticated.
A secured settings page that lets you configure where each card/link routes (MVP pages now, subdomains later).

How the three platforms relate

Composer Author and curate guided pathways, including rules, prerequisites, milestones, and the artifacts that define a pathway as a repeatable model. Composer is where structured content is shaped into something publishable.

Playlist Promote and surface pathways through search, discovery, and comparison. Playlist is oriented toward outreach, intent-based navigation, and helping people find the best route options for their goals.

Performer Help a learner follow the route, track progress, and commit to next steps. Performer is the execution and progress layer, where a pathway becomes a lived journey toward completion and enrollment.

Why a portal exists

The portal provides a single front door for the suite, so the user experience can remain consistent even when each platform is deployed independently. It also creates a natural place to host shared navigation, shared identity, and suite-level visibility into what is published, in-flight, and progressing.

Authentication and access for this MVP

This MVP uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. For the MVP dashboard and settings, access is restricted to an allow-list of administrator emails.

Ownership and stewardship

KSAWorks is presented as a suite aligned to AcademyOne, Inc. This MVP is intended for review and validation, and it is expected that language and policy content will be refined as part of pre-launch governance.
