Description
Dance majors at Mount Holyoke College explore the broad, rich field of dance with faculty mentors who help students identify their unique paths through a curriculum designed to prepare students for a life in the arts. Students experience rigorous technique courses in multiple and diverse dance forms and explore performance, making, music and theory. Through creative, embodied research, students synthesize their Mount Holyoke liberal arts experience with their Dance majors. A Dance degree can lead to career opportunities specific to the dance field as performer, choreographer, dance company director, and teacher, and extend to work further afield.
