A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- With an approach we call the "Experiential Liberal Arts," the College of Social Sciences and Humanities offers a liberal arts perspective for the 21st century, combining study in the social sciences and humanities with Northeastern University’s renowned experiential learning model. Integrating focused study with experiential opportunities, students hone skills in interpretation, analysis, oral communication, and critical thinking. As they explore pressing social challenges and longstanding cultural questions, students gain a broad understanding of the relationships among peoples and nations; global economics and politics; the diversity of languages, literatures, religions, and cultures; politics, policy, and criminal justice; and ethics.
