- This certificate introduces the concepts and applications of digital manufacturing. Core coursework will take students through various processes of digital manufacturing from design to creation. A blend of CAD/CAM in 2D and 3D along with manufacturing capabilities such as additive manufacturing (3D printing), CNC, laser cutting, and others are covered in the hands-on coursework. This certificate is intended to give non-ADM degree seeking students insight and skills for programs and industries where the use for digital manufacturing is becoming common place. Students can choose preferred coursework that align with their fields and combine them with program specific electives for completion of this certificate.
