Description
The Braegelman Catholic Studies Program at the College of St. Scholastica is guided by the conviction that Catholicism is one of the world’s great monuments of human flourishing, the rigorous and sensitive study of which benefits the Church, academy, and society. The Catholic Studies Minor allows students the opportunity to study the breadth and depth of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, Catholic Social Teaching, and the Benedictine Heritage, within an interdisciplinary setting, thereby exploring the dynamic interactions of faith and reason, religion and culture, Church and state.
