Description
The Doctor of Educational Leadership (EdD) program supports current and aspiring leaders from different professional experiences, social organizations, and diverse backgrounds. The EdD program emphasizes innovation, social justice, and equity for the benefit of individuals, organizations, and communities. Students identify inequities and real-world problems (problems of practice) in their professional settings and create a plan of action to address them in their Dissertation in Practice (DiP). EdD students also explore how their intersecting identities impact their positionality as scholars and leaders with the goal of becoming more inclusive leaders. Program components include high-impact practices and address issues and ideas to support transformational change, leadership development, design thinking, and innovative organizational development.
