A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

Description
The Master of Science in Teaching (MST) with Graduate Teaching Licensure allows candidates to earn a master’s degree while completing the requirements for initial Minnesota teacher licensure. Students first complete the Graduate Teaching Licensure program and may choose to continue with two additional courses to earn the master’s degree. This pathway allows candidates to enter the teaching profession with advanced preparation, strengthening professional credentials and expanding future earning potential. As part of the master’s coursework, students complete a capstone project in which they examine a Problem of Practice from their own teaching context and develop an evidence-informed approach to improving student learning.
