Description
Adelphi University has a 3+4 pathway with the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) in which students’ study for three years at Adelphi. After completing 90 credits at Adelphi, students begin their first year of medical school which counts as the final 30 credits needed to be eligible for the bachelor’s degree at Adelphi. The bachelor’s degree will be awarded by Adelphi University after the first year of medical school. After successful completion of the fourth year at NYITCOM, students are eligible for the D.O. degree.
