A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- DCC offers a three-tiered Direct Support Professional (DSP) microcredential program that is fully funded thanks to a partnership with the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). DSPs work in a variety of settings-from daycare to eldercare, outpatient and residential treatment facilities, alternative correction programs, crisis centers and more-with a focus on assisting people with developmental disabilities. Geared toward those already working in the field who want to expand their skill set, the curriculum comprises nine courses over three semesters and aligns with the certification offered through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). All credits earned in the DSP program also “stack” to our Human Services certificate and degree programs.
