- The CNC Precision Machining Certificate Program is designed to prepare students for employment in the precision metal working industry. Its purpose is to provide the academic course work, hands-on skills and advanced manufacturing processes required by business. Upon completion of this program students will be able to enter or advance in such fields as mold making, model making, die making, machine repair and computer numerical control (CNC) machining. Students are prepared for employment in both large manufacturing corporations and small precision machining companies. Graduates can continue their education in industrial technology, engineering or business programs leading to jobs in management.
