More than half of all business majors begin their careers in sales. Regardless of your career path, working in sales is a great way to start your career, and being able to persuade people to support your ideas is a necessary part of most jobs. Students who earn the sales minor will be able to do both. They will be able to sell products and services as well as manage a sales team. They will also be able to effectively advocate for their ideas and work collaboratively with a variety of partners. An understanding of the sales process is valuable in a variety of business fields, and adding a sales minor can help you stand out in whatever field you choose.
