A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- The Astrophysics minor at Le Moyne College offers students a rigorous, quantitative exploration of the universe, focusing on the physical principles that govern stars, galaxies, and the cosmos as a whole. Unlike the algebra-based Astronomy minor, the Astrophysics minor builds on calculus-based physics and higher-level mathematics, providing deeper analytical tools and problem-solving skills. This minor is ideal for students majoring in physics, mathematics, computer science, or chemistry, or pursuing a pre-engineering concentration, and prepares students for advanced study or careers in science and technology. In keeping with Le Moyne’s Jesuit mission, the program encourages both scientific inquiry and thoughtful reflection on humanity’s search for understanding in a vast and dynamic universe.
