- The Pre-Engineering Technician Certificate develops fundamental math and science knowledge, combined with practical skills needed in a wide variety of technical positions. This program is designed for those students interested in a degree in engineering, who do not currently meet admissions requirements into an Engineering Science A.S. or similar program. Students will learn a variety of fundamental technical skills while completing a math and science sequence to prepare them for entry into an engineering degree program. Students completing this certificate program can find employment opportunities in technical roles requiring project management and quality control skills or continue their education seeking a degree in engineering.
