The minor in Sports Management in the Lally School of Management aligns with Lally's strategic goals an initiatives. The global sports industry is increasingly driven by analytics, digital media, sponsorship strategy, venue operations, and fan experience optimization. These trends align strongly with RPI’s institutional strengths in technology, analytics, and management education. Lally currently offers minors in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, and Marketing. While these minors are broadly applicable, none provide a sector-specific applied context in sports, events, or entertainment. A Sports Management minor would fill this gap while leveraging existing coursework.
