Description
The minor in artificial intelligence equips students with a rigorous technical foundation in core methods and computational principles that power modern AI. Students study supervised and unsupervised learning, including regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction. Current machine learning techniques and approaches are discussed, such as agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and reinforcement learning. Courses encourage domain-specific applications drawn from a variety of fields such as natural language processing, computer vision, geospatial computing, cybersecurity, and generative modeling.
