Description
RIT’s biochemistry BS degree provides a curriculum steeped in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology in order to prepare you to consider real-world problems from a variety of perspectives. The first year of the program includes a mix of general biology and chemistry courses, with substantial years focused on biochemistry, physical chemistry, the liberal arts, and elective courses in life sciences. In the biochemistry BS you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills in corporate, health care, or government positions; enter professional education in medicine or other health-related fields; and attend graduate programs in a variety of chemical and life sciences-related programs.
