A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- Our Visual Art & Design program invites students to exercise imaginative thinking, engage in critical discourse, and learn the technical skills needed to support their passion for the arts. The major is built on a strong foundation in the practices of traditional and new media, a deep understanding of the cultural impact of art throughout time, and the belief that imaginative thinking and personal expression can enrich our ways of seeing and communicating. Majors demonstrate a breadth of competencies and a depth of critical thinking through their final portfolio and website. Students will be prepared to pursue a career as an artist, designer, entrepreneur, or other creative professional and/or further academic pursuits in the field of art and design.
