A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- To encourage students to think critically about the process by which laws are passed, enforced, and interpreted and the direct impact said laws have on society at large. Further, students will be encouraged to consider the role that advocacy can play in altering the results and effects of laws on the individual. The courses in this minor will help prepare students for law school and other important careers related to law and public services. By working closely with the social sciences, criminal justice, mathematics, philosophy, and business departments, students will be exposed to rich, broad domains of knowledge. The Legal Studies minor is 18 credits and the maximum number of credits a student can take from any one discipline is 9 credits.
