Description
Army ROTC is available to SUNY Cortland students under a partnership arrangement with the Army ROTC Battalion at Cornell University. By enrolling in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, students at SUNY Cortland are afforded opportunities to complement their study in one of the College’s academic majors with training that can lead to receiving a commission as a second lieutenant upon graduation. The curriculum emphasizes techniques of organizing, motivating and leading others and is sufficiently flexible to be incorporated easily into the overall curriculum plan of a student. Army ROTC prepares students to develop those skills necessary to be a successful leader.
