Description
This liberal arts major in the Geology Department provides a solid foundation in the geological sciences. The program is designed to prepare students for licensure as professional geologists as well as meet entrance requirements of graduate programs in geology. The program is registered with the New York State Education Department as a licensure qualifying program for the profession of Geologist .
