A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- The major in Media Studies focuses on the history, impact, and content of mass media and aims to promote critical thinking and media literacy at all levels of media production and consumption. Our curriculum cultivates greater awareness of issues of diversity and representation in mass media and helps students develop the research and professional skills needed to succeed in today's media industry. A broad selection of elective courses enables students to focus on specific areas of interest, while a required internship and a senior capstone experience provides students with hands-on experience creating, producing, and managing media content.
