Description
The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology provides flexibility in the biology major and breadth of study outside biology. The B.A. can be advantageous for students who wish to pursue a second major, those who need to take prerequisite courses for professional schools, such as physician assistant or nursing programs, or those planning to pursue graduate work outside of life sciences (e.g., law, M.B.A., public policy, or some areas of environmental studies). Graduates from our Bachelor of Arts program also pursue professional degrees in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, and other health-related disciplines.
