Description
This diploma is restricted to music majors and represents an advanced credential that builds on the ICM in Harmony and Composition. Given its prerequisite structure, students who complete the Composition Diploma will complete the Harmony and Composition ICM en cours.

  9. Students completing the Composition Diploma are required to complete a final composition and arrange for its public performance. Students will write a reflective statement regarding the public performance of the work and the process of bringing the performance to fruition. *Note that both MUSC 356 and 357 cannot count for both the ICM in Harmony and Composition and the Composition Diploma. One of the two courses should be counted for the former while the second course will count for the latter.
