A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- This three (3) course Integrative Curricular Microcredential (ICM) in Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LACS) offers students a grounding in the region, its history and cultures, and its significance to contemporary issues and challenges. It includes two (2) foundational courses covering historical and contemporary issues (students can pick from courses taught in multiple disciplines) and one (1) required course choice from a slate of “transformative” education options as a capstone. The LACS ICM is “stackable” with the minor’s requirements, meaning that upon completion, a student will have the option of taking a further four “growth” courses to obtain the LACS minor.
