  1. Academic good standing within an approved major within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Note: Students who left the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in poor academic standing are not eligible to apply for this minor until they have completed 30 credits in a new (non-SEAS) major.

  2. Completion of 45 total credit hours (at UB or elsewhere). Note that students may apply to the program while registered in courses that will bring them to 45 total credit hours.

  3. Minimum overall and UB cumulative GPA of 2.500 required. Admission will be limited to 25 students per year, and therefore the GPAs of admitted students may be higher. When demand exceeds capacity, the overall academic history of applicants will be considered in admission decisions.
