| prior_learning | In-person requirements for Advanced Standing students Students who have met a significant proportion of the objectives of the curriculum through prior graduate study at other rabbinical programs or the equivalent, may receive the status of “advanced standing” upon enrollment. Advanced standing students, who are completing the program in fewer than five years, are required to participate in-person in on-campus classes, hybrid classes and required community events, for a minimum of four semesters. RRC cannot guarantee that advanced standing students will be able to fulfill all of their course requirements in four semesters. | 2025-2026 | rrc.edu | |
| transfer_credit | Approved transfer credits fulfill RRC course requirements but do not necessarily serve as prerequisites for subsequent courses. | 2025-2026 | rrc.edu | |
| Transfer of Credits from Other Institutions | transfer_credit | Transfer of Credits from Other Institutions Students are encouraged to take advantage of learning opportunities outside of the College that are appropriate to their interests and complement their coursework. Students pursuing learning experiences outside the College must fulfill at least 72 credits through study at the College. Students may petition to be granted equivalency credit for graduate courses taken at other institutions if the courses correspond to the College’s course requirements. If, during the program, students wish to earn credit through an experience outside of the College that is not a standard academic course, they must obtain approval from the Faculty Executive Committee. For details and guidance, please contact Rabbi Melissa Heller at 215.576.0800 ext. 123 or MHeller@RRC.edu . | 2026 | rrc.edu |

An empty section is a gap in our capture, not in the college's catalog. Each one names our step that has not reached it yet: Gather, Harvest or Serve.
