A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- The Associate of Arts in American Sign Language (ASL) is stacked within the BA in ASL/English Interpreting and is designed for students that have an interest in learning and improving their conversational skills in ASL. Courses are designed to develop vocabulary and communication ability. While all students will gain foundational knowledge in ASL, some may decide to continue on to complete the BA in ASL/English Interpreting and others who select a different major may also find value in the ability to communicate in ASL in a variety of other career options. This degree is also designed to better facilitate transfer students completing an Associates degree elsewhere to know what content is required at this level so they can move seamlessly into our BA program.
