THE PROGRAM IN 2000, BECAME ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF THE SCHOOL IN 2007 AND PROVOST IN 2011. How has your view of the school changed through your many roles? As a student, I was focused on learning. I got to know my instructors and the other students in my department but not other departments, other faculty or the administration. As an instructor, I became more aware of how the school functions and of the other departments. As provost, I have a day-to-day understanding of how the school works and am in regular contact with students, faculty members and other staff members. I went from a bench-high perspective to a roof-top perspective. With the move to North Street, I look forward to everyone working and learning together under one roof.
