Transfer credit is granted for comparable coursework completed at other accredited institutions of higher education with a grade of C- higher provided that the course content relates to a student’s program of study. All remaining credits may be transfer credits.

NSCC will consider prior learning attained in non-credit or experiential military settings. Credit will be awarded for prior learning that is evaluated as college-level learning as it applies to a student’s chosen program of study or as an elective. This list will include course equivalencies and credits that may be awarded. College-level knowledge demonstrated by scores on standardized examinations may be applied to NSCC’s programs as transfer credit.
