A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- English students also use creativity, imagination, and empathy to develop skills particularly valued by graduate programs and employers – close reading, precise writing, and a keen understanding of human behavior. In addition, the English degrees or undergraduate certificate in professional writing make excellent complementary degrees, paired with study in other fields both in and out of the Humanities.
