An opportunity to receive credit for prior learning or experience in the form of MCTC’s Credit by Exam process is available.

Minneapolis College students may, at the discretion of Minneapolis College faculty, earn credit for course-specific examinations chosen by Minneapolis College faculty.

NOTE: Taking these courses will save time and some money since the dollar credit rate is slightly lower. Financial aid does not cover the cost of these exams. If you are employed, you may want to check your employer to see if they will cover the cost of these exams through a tuition reimbursement program.
