  1. Coaching practicum minimum prerequisites: PESS 235 - Principles of Coaching and current CPR/First Aid certification. Students requesting to take the PESS 406 - Coaching Practicum must receive blue card approval from the PESS department chair or the Sport Coaching minor director.

  2. Academic Requirements: Evidence of current CPR/First Aid certification required prior to the practicum. This can be met if students currently possess a certified CPR/First Aid card or has completed PESS 214 - First Aid and CPR or PESS 314 - CPR/AED & First Aid Instructor . Advanced certifications will be considered upon documentation from an accredited organization.
