Emergency Care

When you sign in at the greeter desk, our staff determines the severity of your medical need. You may not be seen on a first come, first served basis . You may see patients taken back to a room when you have been waiting for some time to be called back. We make every effort to get patients to a room as quickly as possible. We know your time is valuable, but we have to make decisions based on the severity of each individual case . We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding when you have to wait.

Introduction to The Belanger School of Nursing Academics

Some nursing courses are comprised of classroom and clinical experiences. To pass a nursing course with a clinical component, the student must achieve a minimum grade of 75 in theory and a satisfactory clinical evaluation. Clinical instructors evaluate student achievement of the clinical student learning outcomes and expected behaviors. Clinical competency is evaluated on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. It is mandatory that the student demonstrate a consistent pattern of satisfactory clinical behaviors appropriate to the level of instruction. All clinical outcomes and behaviors must be met by the end of each clinical nursing course, unmet clinical outcomes and behaviors will result in clinical and course failure (F). Successful course completion is defined as receiving a grade of C (75.0) or above in all required courses. All students who attain a CGPA of 3.5 or greater will graduate with honors.
