Graduation Policies, Honors, and Awards University Policy of Awarding Degrees Double Major/Dual Degree Policy The New York State Department of Education states the conferral of two associate, baccalaureate, graduate, and professional degrees should be reserved to recognize that a student has competencies in two essentially different areas.

It offers eligible students an opportunity to earn dual degrees: • a Dyson College BA and • a School of Education MS in Teaching Adolescents.
