A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

- Description
- The biomedical sciences major combines rigorous academic preparation and the flexibility to customize courses for numerous post-graduate health career programs. The unique combination of natural and social science courses prepares students to understand disease processes and how to effectively relate to patients in a wide variety of post-graduate health profession programs. Students select courses from six different categories based on the health profession they wish to enter. Students practice what they have learned through applied experiences in the health care field, either by direct patient care, becoming a Health Coach through our collaboration with local providers, or by shadowing health care professionals. Through intensive advising, students will choose courses in the sciences and humanities that prepare them for entrance exams (e.g., MCAT, DAT) and provide a solid knowledge foundation for their chosen profession program.
