General Management Certificate

Ulster County Community College · Stone Ridge, NY

A checklist is the list of requirements to complete this program and receive the award, as the college publishes it in its catalog. It is the same for everyone. It does not say what you have completed; that comes from applying your own record.

Description
The General Management Certificate can be completed in one year of full-time study at 12-13 credits per semester. It provides the students with focused instruction in managerial theory and principles, managing people, communication, accounting, legal basics and technical tools. There is also experiential learning through an internship or a course in Leadership. The certificate provides knowledge, skills and a credential to the employee or organizational manager for advancement. All courses in the certificate can be transferred to our A.A.S. in Business & Entrepreneurial Studies, A.S. in Individual Studies or, when approved, our new A.A.S. in Specialized Studies as part of the core curriculum.
