All four discipline-specific transfe programs are covered by binding statewide transfer agreements that facilitate transfer into specialized undergraduate programs at signatory institutions of University of North Carolina System.

Community College President of the Year and the College took home the Distinguished Partnership of the Year Award for its collaboration with the City of Kannapolis and Castle & Cooke North Carolina.

Students who meet the requirements outlined in the CAA will be guaranteed transfer into one of the University of North Carolina System institutions with a minimum of 60 credit hours transferred and general education credits met.

The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) and the Independent Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (ICAA) enables North Carolina community college graduates of two-year associate in arts programs who are admitted to constituent institutions of The University of North Carolina and to Signatory Institutions of North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities to transfer with junior status.

This agreement addresses the transfer of credits between institutions in the North Carolina Community College System to constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina.
