This course introduces students to the basic tools of Game Theory and its applications to economics, political science, law, biology, and daily life. Concepts such as dominant strategies, backward induction, and Nash equilibrium are utilized to predict outcomes, solve problems, and maximize social welfare. Students learn to recognize and model strategic situations, and to predict when and how their actions will influence the decisions of others.
