| transfer_credit | TRANSFER CREDITS Evaluation of transfer credits from other institutions is done by the Registrar’s office after a student is officially admitted to the University. In general, transfer credit is awarded for college-level courses in fields of study offered at Millersville that were completed with a grade of C- or higher through a regionally accredited institution. To earn a Millersville degree, transfer students are required to complete a minimum of 30 semester hours through Millersville, including 50 percent of their major department requirements (excluding student teaching). Students who have been awarded transfer credit for a particular course, and subsequently complete the same course at Millersville, forfeit the transfer credit. Transfer credits are not used in computing Millersville GPAs. PROGRAM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS MUSIC MAJORS Applicants for Music programs, including transfer applicants and certification students, are required to audition with a solo performance and to take a musical proficiency test.
