INTS 101Critical Thinking3
A sequential study of thinking and reasoning abilities, emphasizing active, independent, and comprehensive thinking to solve problems, analyze, infer, and evaluate issues, reason critically, and understand and apply concepts.
This course provides students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in a structured, supervised work experience that supports a student’s chosen career field. The internships provide entry-level, career-related experiences, and workplace competencies that employers value when hiring new employees. Internships may also be used as an opportunity to explore career fields. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 150 hours of internship work and will also be expected to attend an orientation and concluding meeting as well as complete assignments related to their internship experience.
