| transfer_credit | Transfer Credit — Associate’s Degree and Certificate Majors Transfer credit includes: credit for courses earned at another institution, college credit earned before high school graduation, service credit, and credit earned through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). A maximum of 30 transfer credits may be applied toward an associate’s degree or certificate. Courses taken more than 10 years before the student enrolls here may be evaluated (on a course-by-course basis) to determine if they are equivalent to courses currently required in the student’s major. A copy of the evaluation of transfer credit will be sent to the student. It is the student’s responsibility to make certain that all courses have been evaluated for transfer credit prior to scheduling, to avoid repeating coursework.
