3 Hours Does not count toward hours required for a PSY major or minor. An introductory course dealing with scientific methods in psychology, sensation, perception, biological foundations of behavioral principles of development, motivation, learning, abnormal behavior, inter-personal processes and other topics. Prerequisite to all other psychology courses. Students may only count PSY 1100 or PSY 1200 in the General Education Core, but not both.
