Areas of Emphasis with the Tennessee Transfer Pathway desig- nation – The curriculum in each of these has been approved by faculty representatives from community colleges and universities within the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and by faculty rep- resentatives from the University of Tennessee System.

Associate of Arts Degree University Parallel Major Criminal Justice Emphasis Tennessee Transfer Pathway The Criminal Justice emphasis provides the student with transfer credit for the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.

Associate of Science Degree University Parallel Major Accounting Emphasis Tennessee Transfer Pathway The Accounting emphasis is designed to provide the student with the first two years of academic training necessary to complete a baccalaureate degree in Accounting.

Both the High School and the College shall comply with all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations including, without limitation, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Southern Association of College and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), and College policies and guidelines in the performance of this agreement.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) and Tennessee State University (TSU) met on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, to sign a Reverse Transfer/Dual Admissions agreement.

Dyersburg State Community College, in partnership with the University of Memphis, offers a Partnership Enrollment Program (PEP) that guarantees university admission to any student who completes the requirements for an Associate of Science or Associ- ate of Arts degree.

Effective Fall 2011, an area of emphasis which has been designated as a Tennessee Transfer Pathway (TTP) as- sures students who complete the prescribed curriculum that their courses will be accepted at any university in the Tennessee Board of Regents system and the University of Tennessee system.

The Dual Admission Partnership Program (DAP) provides for general admission to the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Within the University Parallel Major are Areas of Emphasis which are designated as Tennessee Transfer Pathway and Areas of Em- phasis which are not designated as Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
