AP - Advanced Placement in Music Theory Students presenting a score of 4 or better on the 1996 version (or later) of the Advanced Placement Examination in Music Theory will be granted proficiency credit for Theory I (MUS 141, 3 credit hours) and Sight Singing/Ear Training I (MUS 142, 1 credit hour).

A maximum of thirty-two (32) semester credits may be awarded for prior learning at an unaccredited institution provided Lee University has sufficient evidence of the quality of the prior learning experiences. Such credit will be placed on the Lee University transcript only after the successful completion of a semester at Lee University and will be sub- ject to an evaluation of the appropriate application of such prior learning credits to the specific program of studies chosen by the transfer student. All of the courses completed at an accredited junior college by a transfer applicant may be accepted provided the courses are submitted at the time of the original application.
