Transfer Credit Evaluation 1.​ Applicants requesting transfer credit must submit an official transcript documenting academic grades and completed clock hours.​ 2.​ All transfer applicants will be evaluated through both practical and theory assessments to determine skill level and program placement.​ 3.​ Additional fees may apply for textbooks, kits, mannequins, or supplies if required.​ 4.​ The Academy reserves the right to accept transfer credit for all or part of an applicant’s prior training based on:​ ○​ Recognition by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL)​ ○​ Demonstrated proficiency in theory and practical skills​ ○​ The length of time since prior enrollment​ 5.​ Tuition for transfer students is assessed at $12.50 per hour for remaining hours needed to complete the program.​ 6.​ Allowable absence hours for transfer students are based on 6% of contracted clock hours.​ 7.​ Acceptance of transfer hours, practical requirements, and examinations is determined by:​ ○​ Review of the official transcript, and​ ○​ Evaluation by a Bonnie Joseph Academy instructor​ 8.​ Transfer students are required to attend new student orientation.​ The Academy does not offer non-credit remedial programs.
