This course provides supervised clinical experience in funeral directing and embalming. Students will participate in first calls, arrangements, funeral services, embalming procedures, documentation, professional communication, regulatory compliance, and ethical funeral service practice.
This advanced clinical course builds on Clinical Cooperative 1 through supervised funeral service practice. Students will further develop skills in transfers, dressing and casketing, embalming casework, arrangements, services, regulatory compliance, competency embalming, and Capstone Week activities.
