This course introduces ethical, legal, and professional principles related to funeral disposition and cremation. Students will examine ethical decision-making, professional conduct, cremation practices, regulations, documentation, merchandise options, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requirements, and disposition of cremated remains. Note: Most states will additionally require onsite crematory training as well.
