Description
The Criminal Justice major is designed to foster a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system as a whole. It provides preparation for students who aim to work in governmental, social service and related organizations, as well as prepare students who plan to further their studies in graduate programs or law. The program requires classes that explore the causes of crime, consider ethics and critically evaluate policy, as well as offer training in victim advocacy and law, while maintaining flexibility to allow students to follow their individual interests in exploring the way diverse disciplines intersect with the criminal justice system.
