The dance minor program offers students a nurturing community in which to train in multiple dance techniques; develop skills in performance and choreography; and hone self-awareness, collaborative tools, and sociocultural understanding through the creative process of dance. Dance courses, rehearsals, workshops and showings are housed in the 2,700 sq. foot Gretchen Cohenour Dance Studio, with sound and video equipment, black travelers, barres, mirrors, and smooth wood flooring; and in the DuFresne Performing Arts Center, including proscenium stage, black box theatre, costume shop, scene shop, and smaller dance studio.
